7-seed UF walks off 10-seed Gamecocks in extra innings

Colby Halter lined a walk-off sacrifice fly up the middle to advance 7-seed Florida past 10-seed South Carolina in the first round of the SEC Tournament. 

Pitcher Brandon Sproat threw eight scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and only four hits allowed. He allowed one run in the top of the ninth inning, which led to extra innings. 

The Gators will face 2-seed Texas A&M on Wednesday, May 25 at 5:30pm ET.
