現任中國科學(xué)院紫金山天文臺“歷算和天文參考系研究團組”首席研究員，中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)天文與空間科學(xué)學(xué)院教授。1997年獲得南京大學(xué)天文學(xué)系天體測量與天體力學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)博士學(xué)位，導師孫義燧。2001年10月-至2002年10月作為訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者在法國巴黎天文臺歷書(shū)編算和天體力學(xué)研究所工作，與A. Albouy和J. Laskar建立了長(cháng)期合作關(guān)系。

多年來(lái)從事天體力學(xué)基礎和應用研究，包括天體力學(xué)定性理論、多種天體系統動(dòng)力學(xué)、歷書(shū)編算理論和天文導航等方面的研究。在N-體問(wèn)題中心構形和動(dòng)力學(xué)穩定性、太陽(yáng)系動(dòng)力學(xué)結構、雙恒星和多恒星系統軌道擬合、恒星動(dòng)力學(xué)和星系結構形成、系外行星軌道共振和系統穩定性、掩天象預報方法、脈沖星導航的時(shí)空基準等方面分別取得過(guò)一些研究成果。

近年來(lái)的研究興趣主要集中在以下兩個(gè)研究方向上：一是天體運動(dòng)理論，關(guān)注的重點(diǎn)是包括太陽(yáng)系大行星和小行星、天然衛星、雙恒星和多恒星系統的子星等具體天體的運動(dòng)理論，以及與此相關(guān)的基本天文學(xué)問(wèn)題和其它學(xué)科及實(shí)際中的應用問(wèn)題。二是天體力學(xué)定性理論，關(guān)注的重點(diǎn)是經(jīng)典的N-體中心構形問(wèn)題和不同限制下N-體系統的穩定和瓦解判據問(wèn)題。
